Description:
The City of Wheeling is accepting proposals for the implementation of code enforcement solution(s) to assist with improving and modernizing the approach and efficiency of code enforcement activities; including property maintenance, vacant building registration, and future services as necessary in regard to property and building maintenance and related codes. Field-specific solutions may be considered; such as a solution/system to assist with locating and registering owners of vacant and foreclosed properties in the city as outlined in the vacant building registration ordinance separate from a solution/system to assist with property maintenance workflow to achieve compliance with city codes, separate from a public engagement solution.
Interested parties should submit their proposal to the Building & Planning Department no later than 5:00 p.m. June 30, 2021. Proposals will be reviewed as received until the closing date after which interviews may be scheduled as needed. The final award of the contract is contingent on City Council approval.
