Sealed bids will be received, opened, read aloud by the Township Purchasing Agent in the Township of Teaneck, Municipal Building, Council Chambers, 818 Teaneck Road, Teaneck, NJ 07666 in the County of Bergen and State of New Jersey on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at 1:00 PM prevailing time for:

2024 EMERGENCY REPAIR OF SANITARY AND STORM SEWER

TOWNSHIP OF TEANECK

BERGEN COUNTY, NEW JERSEY

The work to be performed under this contract includes the following:

Repair and/or maintenance of the Teaneck Township storm and sanitary sewer systems, on an emergency basis.

Specifications, drawings and proposal forms are on file in the office of the Purchasing Department and can be requested by e-mail at scasian@teanecknj.gov.

Each bid must be made upon the prescribed forms, furnished with the Contract Drawings and Specifications.

Bids will be accepted in the following ways:

  1. Bids will be received at the hour and on the date specified above. Bids submitted at this time shall be addressed to Simona Casian-Sirbu, Teaneck Township Purchasing Agent, C/O Township Clerk, Township of Teaneck 818 Teaneck Road, Teaneck, New Jersey and shall satisfy all previously mentioned requirements.
  2. Bids can be mailed:  All mailed bids shall be addressed to Simona Casian-Sirbu, Teaneck Township Purchasing Agent, C/O Township Clerk and clearly marked on the outside of the envelope:

It is the Bidder’s responsibility to make sure that the bid is submitted on time and to the proper location

“Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A 10:5-31 et. seq., and N.J.A.C. 17:27, et. seq.

All bids shall be irrevocable, not subject to withdrawal and shall stand available for a period of sixty (60) days except as may be permitted by N.J.S.A. 40A:11-23.3.
