PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on April 18th , 2024 at 1:00 P.M.  at the Municipal Building Council Chambers, 818 Teaneck Road, New Jersey 07666, Bergen County, New Jersey, the TOWNSHIP OF TEANECK will receive Statements of Qualifications and Proposals for Professional Legal Services for the following positions in accordance with the terms set forth in the Request for Qualifications and Proposals.

PLANNING BOARD ATTORNEY

      1.    Copies of the Request for Qualifications and Proposals are available at the office of the Township Purchasing Agent, Municipal Building, 818 Teaneck Road, Teaneck, Bergen County, NJ (201) 837-1600 ext.1301, e-mail: purchasing@teanecknj.gov

      1.    Qualification Statements and Proposals must be submitted to the following designated contact person:

3.    Qualification Statements and Proposals must be received by the Township no later than April 18, 2024 at 1:00 P.M., and must be mailed or hand-delivered.  Qualification Statements and Proposals forwarded by facsimile or e-mail will not be accepted.  Qualification statements and Proposals received after this time will not be considered.  The Township will not bear responsibility for delays in delivery for any reason.

4.   Qualification Statements and Proposals and all related information must be stapled or bound, and signed by the Respondent.  If Respondent is other than a natural person, the Qualification Statement and Proposal must be signed by an individual with power to bind Respondent.

5.  The name of the Respondent and the position or contract for which the submission is being made must be printed on the outside of the package containing Respondent’s submission, together with instructions that the submission should not be opened prior to the Due Date. (Suggested format: “Qualification Statement and Proposal for Planning Board Attorney- Do not open until April 18, 2024)”

6. Bidders (Proposers) are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A,.C 17:27.
