ARLINGTON AVE AND BEDFORD AVE IMPROVEMENTS

TOWNSHIP OF TEANECK

BERGEN COUNTY, NEW JERSEY

The work to be performed under this contract includes the following:

Roadway milling and resurfacing of Arlington Ave and Bedford Ave in the Township of Teaneck, the replacement of concrete vertical curb and sidewalk where required, and traffic striping.

Principal items of work in the project include:

• 8,500 SY                HMA Milling, 3” or less
• 1,250 Ton               Hot Mixed Asphalt 9.5M64 Surface Course
• 625 LF                   9” X 18” Concrete Vertical Curb
• 100 SY                   Concrete Driveway Apron

Copies of plans, specifications and bid documents may be obtained upon payment of $50 for pick up OR $50 + $15 postage and handling nonrefundable payable to Fastech Consulting Engineers, either by mailing a check to Fastech Consulting Engineers, 235 Moore Street, Suite 103, Hackensack, NJ 07601 or by filling out a request form at http://www.fastech-eng.com. Each bid must be made upon the prescribed forms, furnished with the Contract Drawings and Specifications.

Bids will be accepted in the following ways:

1. Bids will be received at the hour and on the date specified above. Bids submitted at this time shall be addressed to Farah Gilani, Teaneck Township Engineer, C/O Township Clerk, Township of Teaneck 818 Teaneck Road, Teaneck, New Jersey and shall satisfy all previously mentioned requirements.
2. Bids can be mailed:  All mailed bids shall be addressed to Farah Gilani, Teaneck Township Engineer, C/O Township Clerk and clearly marked on the outside of the envelope:
    

“Bid for Arlington Ave and Bedford Ave Improvements”

All mailed bids shall be mailed employing a formal mail receipt procedure such as Certified Return Receipt and shall also satisfy all of the above requirements.

3. Bids can be hand delivered prior to the date or hour specified. In this case, the bids shall be delivered to Farah Gilani, Teaneck Township Engineer, C/O Township Clerk, Township of Teaneck 818 Teaneck Road, Teaneck, New Jersey and shall also satisfy all of the above requirements.
