TOWNSHIP OF TEANECK  LEGAL NOTICE TO BIDDERS

Sealed bids will be received, opened and read aloud by the Township Purchasing Agent in the Township of Teaneck, Municipal Building, Council Chambers, 818 Teaneck Road, Teaneck, NJ 07666 in the County of Bergen and State of New Jersey on Thursday, November 9, 2023 at 1:00PM prevailing time for:

SOLID WASTE AND RECYCLING PICKUP

Specifications and proposal forms are on file in the office of the Township Purchasing Agent, 818 Teaneck Road, New Jersey 07666 (201-837-1600 X 1301), between the hours of 8 am to 4pm Monday thru Friday, and will be made available upon request to scasian@teanecknj.gov .

Each bid must be made upon the prescribed forms, furnished with the Specifications, and will be accepted in the following ways:

  1. Bids will be received at the hour and on the date specified above. Bids submitted at this time shall be addressed to Simona Casian-Sirbu, Teaneck Purchasing Agent, C/O Township Clerk, Township of Teaneck 818 Teaneck Road, Teaneck, New Jersey and shall satisfy all previously mentioned requirements.
  2. Bids can be mailed: All mailed bids shall be addressed to Simona Casian-Sirbu, Teaneck Purchasing Agent, C/O Township Clerk and clearly marked on the outside of the envelope:

All mailed bids shall be mailed employing a formal mail receipt procedure such as Certified Return Receipt and shall also satisfy all of the above requirements.

  1. Bids can be hand delivered prior to the date or hour specified. In this case, the bids shall be delivered to Simona Casian-Sirbu, Teaneck Purchasing Agent, C/O Township Clerk, Township of Teaneck 818 Teaneck Road, Teaneck, New Jersey and shall also satisfy all of the above requirements.

It is the Bidder’s responsibility to make sure that the bid is submitted on time and to the proper location. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A 10:5-31 et. seq., and N.J.A.C. 17:27, Executive Order 11246 regarding Equal Employment Opportunity, and N.J.S.A. 52:25-24.2 regarding Statements of Ownership Disclosure.

All bids shall be irrevocable, not subject to withdrawal and shall stand available for a period of sixty (60) days except as may be permitted by N.J.S.A. 40A:11-23.3.
