Sealed bids will be received, opened, read aloud by the Township Purchasing Agent in the Township of Teaneck, Municipal Building, Council Chambers, 818 Teaneck Road, Teaneck, NJ 07666 in the County of Bergen and State of New Jersey on Tuesday April 11^th, 2023, at 1:00 PM prevailing time for:

ARLINGTON AVENUE AND PROSPECT TERRACE IMPROVEMENTS

TOWNSHIP OF TEANECK

BERGEN COUNTY, NEW JERSEY

The work to be performed under this contract includes the following:

Roadway milling and resurfacing of Arlington Avenue and Prospect Terrace in the Township of Teaneck, the replacement of concrete vertical curb and sidewalk where required, and traffic striping.

Principal items of work in the project include:

• 5,750 SY                HMA Milling, 3” or less
• 825 Tons                Hot Mixed Asphalt 9.5M64 Surface Course
• 135 LF                   9” X 18” Concrete Vertical Curb
• 40 SY                     Concrete Driveway Reinforced, 6” Thick

Each bid must be made upon the prescribed forms, furnished with the Contract Drawings and Specifications.

Bids will be accepted in the following ways:

1. Bids will be received at the hour and on the date specified above. Bids submitted at this time shall be addressed to Farah Gilani, Teaneck Township Engineer, C/O Township Clerk, Township of Teaneck 818 Teaneck Road, Teaneck, New Jersey and shall satisfy all previously mentioned requirements.
2. Bids can be mailed:  All mailed bids shall be addressed to Farah Gilani, Teaneck Township Engineer, C/O Township Clerk and clearly marked on the outside of the envelope:
    

“Bid for Arlington Avenue and Prospect Terrace Improvements”

All mailed bids shall be mailed employing a formal mail receipt procedure such as Certified Return Receipt and shall also satisfy all of the above requirements.

3. Bids can be hand delivered prior to the date or hour specified. In this case, the bids shall be delivered to Farah Gilani, Teaneck Township Engineer, C/O Township Clerk, Township of Teaneck 818 Teaneck Road, Teaneck, New Jersey and shall also satisfy all of the above requirements.
