Solar Powered Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacon Signs at Various Locations

Township of Teaneck

Bergen County, New Jersey

 

The work described herein and to be performed in accordance with the requirements of the plans and these specifications consist of the installation of Solar Powered Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacon including foundations and other incidental items, reconstruction of curb ramps according to ADA standards, installation of detectable warning surfaces, replacement of vertical concrete curb and concrete sidewalk.

 

 

Principal items of work in the project include:

 

 

Copies of plans, specifications and bid documents may be obtained upon payment of $50 nonrefundable payable to Fastech Consulting Engineers, either by mailing a check to Fastech Consulting Engineers, 540 Hudson Street, Hackensack, NJ 07601 or emailing a request to info@fastech-eng.com with scanned copy of check with authorization to withdraw electronically or alternate method. Each bid must be made upon the prescribed forms, furnished with the Contract Drawings and Specifications.

Bids must be received no later than12:00 Noon on July 7th, 2020 and will be accepted in the following ways:

  1. Bids can be dropped-off in person via the tax payment drop box located to the right of the Municipal Building North Entrance double glass doors, located at 818 Teaneck Road, Teaneck, NJ 07666. Bids submitted at this time shall be addressed to Simona Casian-Sirbu, Teaneck Township Purchasing Agent, and shall be clearly marked on the outside of the envelope:

  1. Bids can be mailed:  All mailed bids shall be addressed to Simona Casian-Sirbu, Teaneck Purchasing Agent, Township of Teaneck, 818 Teaneck Road, Teaneck, New Jersey 07666 and clearly marked on the outside of the envelope:

It is the Bidder’s responsibility to make sure that the bid is submitted on time and to the proper location.

The work shall be completed within 45 consecutive calendar days from the execution of the contract.

“Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A 10:5-31 et. seq., and N.J.A.C. 17:27 et seq.”

All bids shall be irrevocable, not subject to withdrawal and shall stand available for a period of sixty (60) days except as may be permitted by N.J.S.A. 40A:11-23.3.
