Description:
Public Notice is hereby given that the Township of Teaneck is offering for sale to the highest bidder (25) JUNK Vehicles for scrap consisting of trucks, vans, buses, cars and heavy construction equipment.
The contract award will be given to the vendor who offers the highest dollar amount to the Township on a total/lot basis, for all the vehicles offered for sale. The successful bidder MUST purchase and remove all the vehicles offered at this Public Sale.
The vehicles can be inspected at the Township of Teaneck DPW Yard, located at 1600 River Road, Teaneck, New Jersey 07666 (Phone Number 201-837-1600 ext. 1702).
The successful bidder will be required to remove all the vehicles within twenty (20) Days after their receipt of the contract award from the Township.
All bidders will need to provide a cashier’s check, certified check, or postal money order with their bid proposal in the Total Amount of their bid for all the vehicles offered for sale. All the Vehicles are to be Sold WHERE-IS, AS-IS. Returns of any of the vehicles will not be accepted by the Township after Contract Award. The Checks or money orders submitted by unsuccessful bidders will be returned to them within five (5) Business days after award of contract by the Township to the successful bidder.
If interested in submitting a bid for all the junk vehicles offered for Pubic Sale by the Township of Teaneck submit your sealed bid to the Township Purchasing Agent, Simona Casian-Sirbu, Teaneck Municipal Building, 818 Teaneck Road Teaneck, New Jersey 07666 by 1:00 P.M. December 4th, 2019.
A Bid package containing a bid proposal form needed to bid for the vehicles as well as a complete inventory of all vehicles offered for sale can be requested by contacting the Teaneck Purchasing Department at 201-837-1600 Ext. 1303 (email klynch@teanecknj.gov)
