Description: The Township of Teaneck intends to participate in the Houston-Galveston Area Council Cooperative Purchasing Program contract # FS 12-17 (Fire Apparatus), for the procurement of two E-One Typhon Pumpers and accessories, and pursuant thereto, purchase from one of its vendors, E-One Inc. ( through Absolute Fire Protection Co., Inc., South Plainfield, New Jersey). Information regarding the contract may be found at the Township of Teaneck Purchasing Department during regular business hours, as well as on the Houston Galveston Area Council website at: www.hgacbuy.org The Township of Teaneck anticipates joining the Houston Galveston Area Council contract on January 29th, 2019. The Houston Galveston Area Council contract term for Contract# FS 12-17 is from December 1st, 2017 to November 30th, 2019 It is the intent of the Township of Teaneck to make a contract award to Absolute Fire Protection Co., Inc. pursuant to the proposal submitted by E-One Inc. in response to the Houston Galveston Area Council, Request for Bids. The Township of Teaneck is permitted to join national cooperative purchasing agreements under the authority of N.J.S.A. 52:34-6.2(b)(3). Comment period ends January 28th, 2019.
