Description: TOWNSHIP OF TEANECK COUNTY OF BERGEN, NEW JERSEY NOTICE TO BIDDERS Sealed bids will be received, opened and read aloud by the Township Engineer in the Township of Teaneck, Municipal Building, Council Chambers, 818 Teaneck Road, Teaneck, NJ 07666 in the County of Bergen and State of New Jersey on Tuesday, August 14th , 2018 at 1:00 p.m. prevailing time for: GLENWOOD PUMP STATION REHABILITATION TOWNSHIP OF TEANECK BERGEN COUNTY, NEW JERSEY A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for Thursday, July 26th, 2018 at 11:00 am. at the “Glenwood Pump Station”, located at E. Oakdene Ave., Teaneck, NJ 07666. All prospective bidders are encouraged to attend the meeting. The work to be performed under this contract includes the following: In general, Work consists of furnishing and installing 3 dry pit submersible wastewater pumps with soft starts, installing a bypass connection vault, and furnishing and installing a new generator at the Glenwood Pump Station and other miscellaneous work. Specifications, drawings and proposal forms are on file and open to public inspection beginning July 16th , 2018 at the office of the Township Engineer, 818 Teaneck Road, New Jersey 07666 (201 837-1600 X 1729), between the hours of 8:00 a.m.to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and may be examined and obtained by prospective bidders at Crew Engineers, Inc., 1250 Route 23 North, Butler, NJ 07405, Monday through Friday, excluding legal holidays, upon a non-refundable payment of $50.00. An additional $10.00 non-refundable fee will be required in advance for all prospective Bidders requesting that the bidding documents be mailed. Should a prospective Bidder request the documents be forwarded by FedEx (using the Bidder's own account number), an additional $5.00 non-refundable fee will be required in advance. Bids will be accepted in the following ways: 1. Bids will be received at the hour and on the date specified above. Bids submitted at this time shall be addressed to Farah Gilani, Teaneck Township Engineer, c/o Township Clerk, Township of Teaneck 818 Teaneck Road, Teaneck, New Jersey and shall satisfy all previously mentioned requirements. 2. Bids can be mailed: All mailed bids shall be addressed to Farah Gilani, Teaneck Township Engineer, c/o Township Clerk and clearly marked on the outside of the envelope: “GLENWOOD PUMP STATION REHABILITATION” All mailed bids shall be mailed employing a formal mail receipt procedure such as Certified Return Receipt and shall also satisfy all of the above requirements. 3. Bids can be hand delivered prior to the date or hour specified.
