Description: TOWNSHIP OF TEANECK BERGEN COUNTY, NJ LEGAL NOTICE TO BIDDERS Sealed Bids will be received, opened and read in public by the Township Engineer, in the Municipal Building Council Chambers, 818 Teaneck Road, Teaneck, New Jersey, 07666, on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at 1:00 PM, prevailing time or as soon as the matter can be reached for the furnishing of the following: Milton A. Votee Park Proposed Field House Specifications for the above may be examined in the Office of the Township Engineer, 818 Teaneck Road, Teaneck, New Jersey, between the hours of 8:30AM and 4:30PM, Monday through Thursday. Any person, firm, or corporation desiring a copy of the Specification Documents may obtain such from Gianforcaro Architects, Engineers and Planners, 555 East Main Street, Suite 1, Chester, New Jersey, between the hours of 9:00AM and 4:30PM. The cost of each set is $100.00. Said payment is non-refundable. All bidders are encouraged to attend a site inspection tour to be held at Milton A. Votee Park on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at 11:00 AM. Sealed bids can be forwarded to the Township Engineer by mail, messenger, courier, overnight services or by hand at the Township of Teaneck, 818 Teaneck Road, Teaneck, NJ 07666, c/o Township Clerk. Bids must be accompanied by a bid guarantee in the form of a certified check, bid bond or cashier’s check in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total amount bid, not to exceed $ 20,000.00, made payable to the order of the Township of Teaneck, together with a “Consent of Surety” from a surety company authorized to do business in New Jersey stating that it will provide the contractor with bonds in such amount as requested in the advertisement or specifications. The right to reject any and all bids pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-13.2 and to waive any informality in any bid is reserved if such an action is not detrimental to the interest of the Township of Teaneck. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq., and N.J.A.C. 17:27, which pertain to "non-discrimination" and "affirmative action" and N.J.S.A. 52:25-24.2 which refers to the Statement of Ownership Disclosure. Attention is called to the fact that the contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, creed, color, sex or national origin.
