Sealed bids will be received, opened, read aloud by the Township Purchasing Agent in the Township of Teaneck, Municipal Building, Council Chambers, 818 Teaneck Road, Teaneck, NJ 07666 in the County of Bergen and State of New Jersey on Tuesday March 8th, 2022, at 1:00 PM prevailing time for:
PHELPS PARK RESTROOMS
TOWNSHIP OF TEANECK
BERGEN COUNTY, NEW JERSEY
The work to be performed under this contract includes the following:
The work described herein and to be performed in accordance with the requirements of the plans and these specifications consist of site clearing and removal of existing restrooms, construction of a pad and utilities for the new restroom building, concrete walkways, and other incidental items.
Principal items of work in the project include:
Copies of plans, specifications and bid documents may be obtained upon payment of $75 nonrefundable payable to Fastech Consulting Engineers, either by mailing a check to Fastech Consulting Engineers, 235 Moore Street, Suite 103, Hackensack, NJ 07601 or by filling out a request form at http://www.fastech-eng.com. Each bid must be made upon the prescribed forms, furnished with the Contract Drawings and Specifications.
Bids will be accepted in the following ways:

All mailed bids shall be mailed employing a formal mail receipt procedure such as Certified Return Receipt and shall also satisfy all of the above requirements.
It is the Bidder’s responsibility to make sure that the bid is submitted on time and to the proper location
The work shall be completed within Forty-Five (45) consecutive calendar days from the date of the notice to proceed.
“Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A 10:5-31 et. seq., and N.J.A.C. 17:27 et seq.”
All bids shall be irrevocable, not subject to withdrawal and shall stand available for a period of sixty (60) days except as may be permitted by N.J.S.A. 40A:11-23.3.
