NOTICE TO BIDDERS

 

Sealed bids will be opened, read aloud, and available for viewing by the public via live streaming using the following web address www.teanecknj.gov/bid-openings, by the Township Purchasing Agent in the Township of Teaneck, Municipal Building, Council Chambers, 818 Teaneck Road, Teaneck, NJ 07666 in the County of Bergen and State of New Jersey on Thursday, February 18th, 2021 at 1:00 PM prevailing time for:

 

2021 EMERGENCY REPAIR OF SANITARY AND STORM SEWER

TOWNSHIP OF TEANECK

BERGEN COUNTY, NEW JERSEY

The work to be performed under this contract includes the following:

Repair and/or maintenance of the Teaneck Township storm and sanitary sewer systems, on an emergency basis.

Specifications, drawings and proposal forms are on file at the office of the Township Engineer, 818 Teaneck Road, New Jersey 07666 and can be requested by calling 201-837-1600 ext.1729, between the hours of 8 am to 5pm Monday thru Friday, or by e-mail at fgilani@teanecknj.gov.

Bids must be received no later than 12:00 Noon on February 18, 2021 and will be accepted in the following ways:

  1. Bids can be dropped-off in person via the tax payment drop box located to the right of the Municipal Building North Entrance double glass doors, located at 818 Teaneck Road, Teaneck, NJ 07666. Bids submitted at this time shall be addressed to Simona Casian-Sirbu, Teaneck Township Purchasing Agent, and shall be clearly marked on the outside of the envelope:

  1. Bids can be mailed:  All mailed bids shall be addressed to Simona Casian-Sirbu, Teaneck Purchasing Agent, 818 Teaneck Road, New Jersey 07666, and clearly marked on the outside of the envelope:

It is the Bidder’s responsibility to make sure that the bid is submitted on time and to the proper location

“Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A 10:5-31 et. seq., and N.J.A.C. 17:27, et. seq.

All bids shall be irrevocable, not subject to withdrawal and shall stand available for a period of sixty (60) days except as may be permitted by N.J.S.A. 40A:11-23.3.
