TOWN OF PANTEGO
This project primarily consists of a proposed waterline interconnection between the Town of
Pantego and the City of Arlington, including 6-inch and 8-inch ductile iron waterline, flow meter
and vault, altitude valve and vault, and connection to existing ground storage tank onsite.
Sealed bids will be received by the Town of Pantego, Texas, at the Office of the Director of Public
Works, 1614 S. Bowen Road, Pantego TX, 76013, until p.m. 2 p.m. on November 25, 2019, for the
construction of Town of Pantego Emergency Waterline Interconnection, as listed in the
contract documents, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read aloud in the
Public Works Conference Room. Any bid received after closing time will be returned unopened.
All bidders and subcontractors on this project must be pre-qualified in the appropriate work
category as outlined in the Instructions to Bidders of the contract documents.
Contract documents, including plans, specifications, and addendums are available in electronic
format from the Design Engineer, Dunaway Associates, LP. Requests should be directed to Josh

A cashier's check or an acceptable Bidder's Bond payable to the Town of Pantego, Texas, in an
amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the largest possible total for the bid submitted, must
accompany the bid.
A Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each for one hundred percent (100%) of the contract
price, will be required. The successful bidder shall also furnish to the Town a Maintenance Bond
covering defects of material and workmanship for two calendar years following the Town's
approval and acceptance of the construction.
Not less than the prevailing wage rates adopted by the Town of Pantego, Texas, and as set forth in
the contract documents, must be paid on this project.
In case of ambiguity or lack of clearness in stating prices in the Proposal, the Town reserves the
right to accept the most advantageous construction thereof to the Town or to reject the proposal.
The Town reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any or all informalities. No bid
may be withdrawn until the expiration of ninety (90) days from the date bids are opened.
All inquiries must be submitted to the Town no later than seven (7) calendar days prior to bid
opening as outlined in the Instructions to Bidders of the contract documents
