Sealed proposals addressed to the Town Council of the Town of Pantego, 1614 South Bowen Road, Pantego, Texas, 76013, will be received at the Town Hall of the Town of Pantego until 10:00 AM on Wednesday, May 29, 2019. The envelope must be sealed and clearly marked SEALED BID for Park Row Decorative Street Lighting Project, Bids will be publicly opened and read at Town Hall, 1614 South Bowen Road, Pantego, Texas, on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at 10:00 AM for the following project:
Park Row Decorative Street Lighting Project
The successful Bidder must furnish Performance and Payment Bonds each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price from an approved Surety Company holding a permit from the State of Texas, to act as Surety. The Successful Bidder, upon completion of the Project, shall also provide a two-year Maintenance Bond.
All unit prices must be stated in both script and figures. The Town reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities or formalities. In case of ambiguity or lack of clearness in stating the price in the bids, the Town reserves the right to consider the most advantageous construction thereof, or to reject the bid. Unreasonable or unbalanced unit prices will be considered sufficient cause of rejection of any bid or bids.
Bidders are expected to inspect the site of the work and to inform themselves regarding local conditions and conditions under which the work is to be done.
Bids may be held by the Town of Pantego for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of Bid Opening for the purposes of reviewing the bids and investigating the Bidder’s qualifications prior to the contract award.
A pre-bid meeting will be held at 1614 South Bowen Road, Town of Pantego, Texas on Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at 10:00 AM.
Bids will only be accepted in the bound Bid Documents. Do not remove the Proposal and submit separately. Any Bid submitted contrary to these instructions will be considered Non-Responsive and will be returned unopened.
