Description: The City of Othello is seeking an experienced consultant to assist in preparing a feasibility study for a permanent farmers market in Othello. The consultant will work with a diverse local steering committee to objectively assess feasibility from several angles: 1) Market—consumer demand, vendor base and balance, regional competition, scope and scale; 2) Financing—projected costs and potential sources of funding for development, operations and maintenance; and 3) Location—size, centrality, and access. The results of the assessment will enable community leaders to make an informed decision as to whether, and at what scale, to proceed with this significant local investment.
